Comparing supported living and other residential options?
If you are looking into supported living, group homes and other residential services, our Family Model Program is another option. Adults live full time with a host family in a private, single-family home, with full-time care including room and board.
One to three adults live in each home. The program is designed to promote independence, offer personalized care and provide a family-like setting to call home.

What life in the home includes
- A private family home. Full-time room and board with a host family, in a home shared by up to three adults.
- Support with daily living. Assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and medication administration. Host families are available around the clock to provide support.
- Belonging. Residents often form close bonds with fellow residents and host families, with a sense of belonging and community.
- Independence and dignity. Personalized care that promotes independence and quality of life.

What is the Family Model?
Caring host families, called Family Model Providers, open their homes to provide full-time residential care, including room and board, for up to three adults.
